It has a rosewood adjustable floating bridge & lovely Art Deco stylised scratchplate. It appears all original, the upper-bound laminated body & back, has no splits or repairs, just honest age related play-wear, the brown pearloid buttoned machine heads are all perfectly intact & perform really well, the first 2-3 frets have some minor indentations, but are primarily in excellent shape, the mahogany neck houses an ebony fingerboard with MOP dot & crown inlays that are in A1 undented condition. Having a good neck is always a blessing with older guitars, as they did not install truss rods until later years. The guitar itself plays well, with more than an acceptable action & a really decent, albeit chunky typical 50’s profile neck. Little is known about this instrument except that given it’s name, it likely originated in the B&H Deansbrook Road manufacturing facility in Edgware Middx back in the day! We have acquired a rare c.1950 (Poss earlier) acoustic archtop guitar.
